More than a thousand reenactors recreate the October 19, 1864 Battle of Cedar Creek, the last major battle in the Shenandoah Valley, on the original fields. Confederate morning assault staged Saturday and the Federal counterattack Sunday, with military and civilian camps open all weekend.
