Second Fredericksburg “The Forgotten Front” First 125 paid attendees will receive a free copy of Chancellorsville’s Forgotten Front – The Second Battle of Fredericksburg by Chris Mackowski and Kristopher D. White Three day event featuring programs, battlefield tour, lectures, meals, eight great historians speaking, silent auction, raffles, and CVBT 30th Anniversary surprises! In the spring of 1863, as the Army of the Potomac braced for what would become the Chancellorsville Campaign, Salem Church and the fields west of Fredericksburg played a crucial yet underappreciated role. The main Union army, beset by uncertainty and relentless Confederate attacks, found itself struggling to coordinate its scattered corps.

Members will compete in various individual and team matches using Civil War-era original and reproduction firearms. Free and open to the public for spectating.
